How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your device Settings, then tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Find The Peak Daily and tap Cancel Subscription. On Android, open Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot your password?" and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Why isn't my trash schedule showing?
Make sure you've set your home address in the app. Go to Settings and tap Change Address. Enter your full street address in Apex, NC. The trash schedule is pulled from the Town of Apex ReCollect system and requires an exact address match.
How do I report incorrect information?
If you see wrong event times, outdated business info, or any other errors, email us at adam@thepeakweekly.com with the details and we'll get it fixed. You can also use the chat to flag issues.
Is The Peak Daily available outside Apex?
The Peak Daily is built specifically for Apex, NC. While you can access it from anywhere, the features (events, trash schedules, outage alerts, etc.) are all Apex-specific and won't be useful for other locations.
Delete Your Account
The Peak Daily is published by Rank Brain Media LLC. If you would like to delete your account and associated data, follow the steps below.
How to request account deletion
- In the app: Open The Peak Daily, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. Follow the confirmation prompt.
- By email: Send a request to support@peakdaily.app from the email address associated with your account. Include “Delete my account” in the subject line.
Account deletion requests are processed within 48 hours.
What data is deleted and retained
Permanently deleted:
- Your account profile and email address
- Notification preferences and push notification tokens
- Saved address and personalization settings
- Chat history with the Peak Assistant
- School calendar track selections
Retained for up to 30 days, then deleted:
- Server logs containing anonymized usage data (for debugging and abuse prevention)
Not stored by us (managed by third parties):
- Subscription and payment information (managed by Apple or Google; cancel your subscription separately in your device settings before requesting deletion)
- Authentication tokens (managed by your sign-in provider: Google or Apple)
